The GEO-TAG VIS  is a low cost, all weather target
acquisition system with state of the art optronics for tactical reconnaissance
missions . It includes a day optical channel and an uncooled thermal imager
which are viewable through a binocular eyepiece along with a laser range
finder, GPS and magnetic compass all integrated into one compact system.
A 384 x 288 microbolometer with high sensitivity provides crisp images for
night time scenarios. The GEO-TAG VIS is safe under all conditions and provides
accurate ranging up to 2 km. The ranger finder combined with the GPS and
integrated compass enables accurate target geo-location.
GEO-TAG VIS provides a unique capability to forward observers, controllers and
gunfire teams. The system can recognize targets in day/night/obscurant
conditions, range to the target at an eyesafe wavelength, and calculate grid
coordinates with its own GPS/Elevation/Azimuth capability. The system then
provides this information to other members of the digital battlefield.

VIS Plus Enhanced Vision enhances situational awareness for drivers and pilots in darkness, smoke, haze, rain, fog and other hazardous situations.
It is a multi-band imaging system that can be mounted on ground, marine and aerial vehicles. Extended dynamic range and depth of field enhance the clarity and precision of the
image while highlighting details that would typically not be visible to the naked eye.
Traditional imaging systems for navigation have a single display that is only capable of showing data from one camera at a time, so the driver/pilot must choose which image to concentrate on, or must cycle through the different imaging outputs. Image fusion is a technique which allows us to combine the complementary information from each sensor
into a single, superior image which can be displayed to the operator.
VIS Plus Enhanced Vision maximizes scene detail and contrast producing superior image quality with maximized information content. The video fusion algorithm embedded into Fuzor is a new approach to multi-scale fusion which benefits from much faster execution times and reduced memory overheads. Without compromising frame-rate and resolution, VIS Plus Enhanced Vision is a low-cost multi-sensor camera platform with features that was only available till now in advanced, expensive military reconnaissance systems.
The hardware platform is a dual core ARM running the highly sophisticated NVIDIA Tegra processor. This allows users to integrate video analytics routines directly on the camera thus creating smart multi-sensor cameras.
