·  Wide-VGA   &   1.3Mp   &   3Mp   &  5Mp     &  10Mp  Multi-Megapixel Resolutions Available   ·  Global Full Frame Electronic and Synchronous/Rolling Shutter Options   ·  Very High Frame Rates in reduced ROI’s   · On-board FPGA & Processor for Easy Customization   · Compact Size & Low Cost.  Designed for OEM Applications   · Field Upgradeable & Excellent Dynamic Range  The new LightWise area scan smart cameras combine CMOS technology and the FireWire™ standard to give a low-cost, high performance solution to machine vision applications.  These compact cameras shorten the typical integration time associated with vision systems and offer flexibility for OEM solutions.  Fully compliant with the IEEE-1394 IIDC DCAM Specification Version 1.3, these cameras can be used with compatible programs such as LabVIEW™, other 3rd Party Software, etc.  Very High Frame Rates can be attained with reduced regions of interest (300 fps at 200 x 250) resolution.  Cameras with a global shutter are available for applications that involve objects in high-speed motion.   All camera controls are done through software, which includes a fully programmable dynamic range/gamma control LUT for any desired response curve.  An on-board image buffer & FPGA are also featured in these cameras.  All cameras offer triggering and strobe control capabilities.  These area cameras feature Digital Pan & Zoom hardware or Motion-JPEG as an option.  These cameras come packaged with driver software and a user’s manual.  Additional features include:       ·Full frame rate smooth digital panning with digital zoom capability.  This allows a region of interest of any size to be swept through the entire active viewing area via host computer control. ·Under contract JPEG and Motion-JPEG can be added.

The ISG Remote-Eye Custom Camera Platform, Remote-Eye, can be coupled with any CCD or CMOS image sensor (both Area and Line Scan sensors). The platform has a high performance low-power Linux CPU along with 10/100 Ethernet, on-board JPEG compression, NTSC composite and S-Video. It has on-board FPGA (up to 4M gates) and contains the ISG Image Pipeline. There is on-board Image Buffer Memory with up to 128MB of memory.   It has remote sensor head capabilities. The remote sensor head can have a board lens for very small applications or any other standard mount. This camera is targeted towards Security & Surveillance, Traffic Enforcement, machine vision, automated assembly, metrology and Industrial Bar Code.

The on-board JPEG compression algorithm enables high-quality high-resolution video to be captured and transmitted over industry standard 10/100 Ethernet cabling and networks. 

The on-board digital pan & zoom hardware enables this camera to eliminate the costly and unreliable mechanical pan, tilt and zoom units in use in the security industry today. 

The on-board NTSC/PAL interface allows local display of images.

This camera is the second of a new generation of intelligent security cameras.

The ISG Advanced Quad HDTV (tm)™ Camera was designed to specifically meet the requirements for high resolution video capture as used in Digital Cinematography, Broadcast Video, Biometrics, high end security and surveillance, and Scientific Research. Whether projected onto a large cinema screen, broadcast, displayed on a high-resolution monitor, or captured for image analysis, the video output of the Quad HDTV (tm)™ Camera exhibits a level of detail that is currently unrivaled by any existing technology. The QuadHDTV (tm)™ Camera is intended to illustrate the benefits of high-resolution electronic imaging and provide a platform for development of high-resolution image capture, compression, transmission and storage systems.
The camera offers wide functionality and comes with a user-friendly ISG GUI that permits the user to access and control its many features. The camera is also fully programmable; thus allowing for future upgrades and added capabilities.

This ISG Advanced QuadHDTV (tm) Color Video Camera uses several ISG, Inc. proprietary technologies, including a custom image path to allow excellent image quality and high-speed video output. This camera utilizes the Photon Vision Systems QuadHDTV (tm) 8.3Mp Video frame rate image sensor.
